At the end of this last calendar week we were able to bribe a new fomite .
It ’s not REALLY a new vehicle – it ’s a Toyota Noah van from 2000 – but it ’s fresh for us .
The insurance policy payout was just enough for me to bribe this one with immediate payment … and I had just enough bequeath over to buy Rachel a chest deep freezer . Now we can really put away meat and bring forth . The fridge in the house we charter is too small for our family and the freezer is tiny . The novel thorax freezer is huge and will help her a lot .
On Saturday we went to the local meat grocery in the morning and I loaded up on pork , goat and beef . Here the fauna are n’t throw in with hormones or finished with GMO Zea mays . They are usually tied in the jungle where they consume whatever they like … and the flavor of the meat is rich , hearty and tough than most of us are used to in the states .

I also bought fresh tuna , marlin and snapper – for about $ 3 a Cypriot pound , right from the sea . That ’s a great welfare of inhabit closely to the ocean in a low - income area . The price of tuna steaks is cheaper than one dollar bill store Bologna sausage back in Florida .
After meat shopping , we take up a wrong turn going home and ended up travel way up into the mountains . Instead of turning around , I kept going and decided to take the tiddler to see the misty cloud forest . After an hour of hiking and then getting rained on amidst tree ferns and vine beside a deep blue lake , we travel home and packed the Deepfreeze .
It ’s a different life here , but it ’s a undecomposed one . And I ’m very grateful God lease us all live throughour railroad car chance event .
