Hey , everyone ! If you ’re from around “ these parts , ” please fall in us atKLRU on October 20 at 7 p.m.forour monthly Community Screening . This time , KLRU features local production . Meet Evan Smith from Texas Monthly Talks , and see a few clip from a new main production , Austin Daytripper .
AND , meet CTG ’s server Tom Spencer , director Ed Fuentes , and me . After the cover in the Austin City Limits studio apartment , you could tour the CTG set . ( And I ’ll just say that on hebdomadal ACL studio apartment tours , some visitors race over to our set and cry , “ Wow , it ’s Central Texas Gardener ! ” ) . I like that .
Can you beat last weekend ’s bouquet ? Sunday ’s pelting interpose with my to - do leaning , but I fuck that kind of hindrance !

Despite the drouth , the asters part blooming right on agenda . The yucca youngsters are still a minute overtaken , but in a few years , they ’ll be the alpha plant .
I took reward of the light rain to separate some Lamb ear to satisfy a few spot along the crape layer border . Now it ’s all “ touch base . ” While there , I could n’t withstand a picture of garlic chives against some caladiums that get their second malarkey .
To their right , I establish three pinkish rainwater lilies ( Zephyranthes labufarosea ) in between my recent ‘ Diamond Frost ’ euphorbias .

In the middle of the layer , snowy Salvia coccineas are flood out the dianellas , but I like the celestial look . It ’s not deserving taming them now , since it wo n’t be long before they ’re chronicle . After the first hard Robert Frost , the dianellas will be back in control .
I never postulate a calendar to know it ’s dip . Along with the aster , under the Taiwanese pistache , Salvia reglaannounced it .
So did Mexican mint marigold ( Tagetes lucida ) and Gregg ’s mistflower ( Conoclinium greggii ) in the cat cove .
