We last hear from Karen Cherry in Illinois a little over a year ago ( refresh your memoryHEREandHERE ) . Today she ’s back with a special through - the - years look at one surface area of her garden .
She says,“For 16 class I worked as a graphic designer but that atmospheric static , two dimensional art seemed to stick out me . I thirst the challenge of the ever - changing work of prowess that landscape design is , with its pallet of plants as a culture medium to bring get-up-and-go , life , and daily dynamics to project . The garden is all about variety – active , invariant change . This is how one area in my garden that lead to the back of our property has changed . ”
So very interesting to see the progression , Karen . And I am obsessed with how the arches are offset instead of lined up perfectly . It ’s genius ! Thanks so much for share-out .

- The push is still on – get outside and take some last minute of arc shots , or compile a few you look at earlier in the season . I ’ll be eternally grateful … . Email them to[email protected ] . Thanks ! * * * *
