The garden as it turns from daffodils to peonies
receive back to my garden ! Daffodils , narcissus , bluebells , andfritillariahave step aside for azaleas , redrhododendrons , andtree peonies . I have started planting up my pots . I also temporarily opened the fern farm to rehome the giant ostrich ferns(Matteuccia struthiopteris , Zones 3–7 ) I have . They are VERY well-chosen , so I needed to cut some out . My friends were happy beneficiaries ! Next to open will be the first prime of rose . I gave all of them a recent February pruning , and now they are raring to go . Happy horticulture !
Small hostas(Hostahybrids , Zones 4–9 ) afford up their leafage in a container backed by an enormous stand of ostrich ferns . This fern can spread a little aggressively , particularly in dampish conditions , but who could bear in mind have lots of these beautiful plants ?
genus Funka grow happily in pots , and this can be a dandy room to show them off .

In the modulation from other spring , daffodilshave pass off , as have some of the azalea , while the tree peony ( Paeoniahybrid , Zones 4–8 ) on the right is coming into full bloom and the roses are putting out new growth before their time to gleam .
Though called Sir Herbert Beerbohm Tree peonies , these plants are more shrubs , with woody stems and tremendous flower in the natural spring . tree diagram paeony bloom earlier than their herbaceous relative and are a little more tolerant oflight subtlety .
The tree peony flowers are simply breathtaking .

I ’d love to seat at the table next to that azalea in full peak and just drink in the spring beauty .
Thewoodland gardenis make full with graceful ostrich ferns .
Deerlove to nosh onhostaleaves at this unfurling stage , so Carla put on a foul sprayer to keep them unaffected .

This unusual rhododendron ( Rhododendronhybrid , Zones 5–9 ) has rich , dismal red flowers .
With nearly white flowers delicately edged with pinkish , thisclematis(Clematis , early large - flower group , Zones 4–8 ) is so staring I ca n’t stop star at the photo !
