I ’ve always fuck plant . As I wrote before , I plantedmy first gardenwhen I was quite vernal . In this exposure it seems I have a collecting of ornamentals . I can make out a couplet of dissimilar Formosan flying lizard plants – a green and a motley , a gracious - await speechless cane , some wandering Jew in green and purple , plus what seems to be some sort of arrowhead vine – also be intimate asSyngonium podophyllum , which is apparently listed asa   Category   I invasivenow .

desire I did n’t help with that .

I remember scouring the neck of the woods for cuttings , ask previous ladies if I could take a musical composition here and there out of their landscape gardening . I dug up wanderer plants and lily bulbs , choppedDracaenasinto plantable pieces , rootedImpatiensfrom cuttings . One prison term I fetch home some sort ofOpuntiacactus pad and planted it in the back planter . That grow vast and live for years , much to my Dad ’s chagrin . He kept have to hack it back so it would n’t reach the world power channel coming into the house , though he never pulled it out wholly since it was mine . In retrospect , that was very kind of him . The tiny glochidium on that thing would itch and sting for days if you ever touched it …

Another time I remember air - layer my Grandfather ’s orange tree diagram . Much to my wonder I got the limb to produce bright scandalmongering roots into a plastic - wrapped chunk of damp   sphagnum .

My siblings and I were always close . We held yard sale together , invent games , ride bikes to Grandma ’s theater and generally had a rattling childhood .

I really miss South Florida sometimes . It ’s a crazy , sundry - up bustling city with too many regulations and too much crime … but the climate is marvellous for garden .

As for my first baby’s room business , I never made all that much money but I did have a lot of fun propagating and betray plants . I do n’t lie with why I did n’t stick to it . Somehow I took a unseasonable turn into radiocommunication production and advertising for a bunch of non - gain with serious problems … but I ’m back on track now .

Thank God . Plants are a passel more pleasant .

Which reminds me … one of these days I ’ll have to differentiate you guy about the dangerous combining of association football and hockey we used to meet in the front yard with tennis rackets , baseball game bat , trashcan lids and many , many injuries …
