Today ’s pic are from Beth Zellner in Marysville , Ohio . Beth says,“I really delight opening my Es - mail every weekday and acquire to see a raw batch of photos from GPOD ! I learn and am exalt by what other nurseryman are doing . I am not a professional gardener or lensman . I just love spending prison term out in the garden and look at it to be my creative vent .
“ When I first moved to my place in 2004 , the lawn was of the average , unmistakable - Jane eatage variety . There were no garden beds at all . I had an glimmering of what I need : a wildlife - friendly hayfield with sempiternal blooms , with a splash of whim . My style continues to evolve , but as you’re able to see from the photos , I think I am at least on the right way !
“ At nowadays , my beds are full of Siberian wallflower , knight bachelor ’s button , sweet Williams and poppy ( to name a few ) . There are also the irises , lupine , and genus Dianthus . The paeony are blooming . Soon these will all fade and the echinacea , sinister - eyed Susans , daisies , blanketflowers , and daylilies will take their stead . My goal for the rest period of the class and next is to increase the Ohio natives and create a butterfly stroke paradise with milkweed , bee balm , and phlox . ”

You ’ve make your vision , Beth , and it ’s so beautiful ! Good fate draw even more wildlife to your garden . I distrust you ’ll be successful .
- These picture , and the accompanying description , were submitted in mid - May , so Beth ’s garden may be quite different by now ! Perhaps we can persuade Beth to send in more picture … ;-) * *
