I particularly likeold roses , and this is one of them , the Apothecary rose orRosa gallica officinalis . Like many old rosebush , it will only bloom once in the spring , but thefragranceand vigor are worth it .

Another older rose , ‘ Rosa mundi ’ has pink , striped bloom .

Wider persuasion of ‘ Rosa Mundi ’ exhibit its growth riding habit , loaded down with early summer blossom .
