In the sample room , Jack decide he might as well call the guy who wanted info .
Then he realized Angie had n’t give him the number .
Off the hook , he thought , then started grinding the next soil sample distribution .
A moment later , though , the phone on the corner desk lit up . He flip the grinder off with a suspiration and picked it up .
“ Jack , here ’s the number . ” It was Angie , sounding deadly . He wrote down the digits , then hung up before she could bring up flame computerized axial tomography again .
Jack picked up the telephone again and dial .
It rang three times , then he heard a far-off click and a “ Hello , who is this ? ”
“ It ’s Jack . Jack Broccoli . From AgriTweak . ”
“ Ah yes , ” the voice continued in a placid , unidentifiable dialect . “ I wish to verbalize with you about your method acting . ”
“ Ah , sure . We do a variety of soil trial . For example , Mehlich III . We also do ammonium ethanoate . And sometimes – ”
The voice cut him off . “ -and in doing these tests , is it not true that you heat the soil in an oven , then grind it in a machine ? ”
“ Yes , that ’s good . We have a dry out oven where we put the sample , then we take them from there and moil them exquisitely . If you do n’t , you wo n’t get good recital . ”
“ And then , ” said the voice , “ you pour toxic chemical substance onto it ? ”
“ Not extremely toxic , ” said Jack , “ I think , just whatever we need to break it down properly to get our readings . It ’s pretty safe . ”
“ secure ! ” sizz the vocalisation . “ secure to who ? You , homo – that is all you recollect about ! You are blind . ”
“ No , ” pronounce Jack , slowly , not certain what the guy require from him .
“ Yes , yes you are blind . Are you allowing the indweller of the soil to void before you lead up your pogram against them ? ”
“ I ’m sorry ? ” Jack say .
“ All the life . The intricate web . The entire culture you demolish with such indurate unconstraint . Another day on the line of work for you . Another Clarence Day of genocide ! ”
“ What in the world are you talking about ? ” Jack say .

I would say that you are trash , but that would be an vilification to the unbelievable microbial biotic community which makes up what mankind call ‘ trash . ’ ”
“ Excuse me ? ” Jack said , astound .
“ You demolish life , you murderous mammal . Drying , grind , heating – murder . make love this , ” the voice continued , “ the days of your domination will fare to an end . Before proceeding further , I wish to know and record your lips condemn yourself , as it is only reasonable to allow the criminate present their case before implementation . ”
“ Execution ! ” Jack exclaimed , “ Wait , what – I imagine you wanted a soil test ! ”
“ The ultimate test is upon man . It is the mental test of his fitness as a species . And many – too many – are like you . You have failed . ”

Today I trust to finish up the net edit ofGarden Heat , the long awaited sequel toTurned Earth . Then it ’ll be sent off to my publisher to be proofread , set and printed . The cover by Jeremiah Humphries is done already and it ’s a beauty :
Jeremiah ’s interior illustrations are in progress and should be done around the same time the proofreading is done . My dead reckoning is that the script will be out by some sentence in January . stick around tune up .
I ’ve been maintaining my zero carb dieting ( except for some bare yogurt with beloved and peanut butter yesterday ) with zero alcohol and nicotine , which has by all odds increased my output potential drop . In fact , I finger so unspoilt that I gave away the balance of my cigars to a friend last night . I ’m done .

I ’ve let the YT channel go a bit lately since everything is grow slowly and it ’s been cold outside , but I do want to encompass my individual wrangle crop in deepness as well as demo my cycle hoe .
