Last calendar week , McQueens Flowers usher in Bon Bon – the first of a year - round series of wedding and events inspiration create by the London Weddings and Events Team . Designed to delight , inspire , and most importantly celebrate the season ’s most bountiful flowers and foliation , Bon Bon strike out the start of the new series and today they introduce the second – Linen .
plan by Lead Creative , Alison Lythgoe , this classic collection was inspired by vindicated previous wintertime sunlight , crisp early spring cockcrow , and full-bodied evergreens sparkling with hoar – a series of celebratory figure evoking all the magic and cool prevision of an English garden at the start of bounce .
From a giant , flowered urn , and a spectacular table centerpiece to low table designs and a series of vessels fill with mixed stem , each arrangement is brim with a classical combination of seasonal florals in diffuse bone and cream hues – a variant on the classic ' white wedding ' as described by Alison :
" White wedding flowers will never go out of fashion . Linen is an update version on a classic , travel away from ' pure white ' roses and hydrangea – which can be sourced all year around – and embracing what is in time of year right now . The result is more of a electroneutral , springiness palette with an copiousness of rich texture and apparent movement . "
Large - headed rose and ruffle ranunculi nestle alongside giant , lily-white clematis and sweet odoriferous lilac – gently nodding Guelder rose , long - staunch French tulips and trailing jasmine add texture and motion throughout the generally domed , gently garden - flair designs . Both Greco-Roman and present-day , each arrangement would be every bit well suited to a decadent dance hall as it would a rustic , countryside manor house .
All the vessels featured in our collections , from gargantuan urns and glass vases to footed bowls and delicate bottles , have been carefully selected from the McQueens Events prop fund – a huge appeal of floral hardware in a mountain range of cultivation to suit every occasion and locus . Not only are they beautiful but they dish out a more eco - conscious intention , too , with each watercraft hand selected and vetted by our team to ensure it can be used with eco - witting auto-mechanic . As with Bon Bon , the Linen collection was made completely floral - foam free .
